I want to thank everyone for continuing to keep me going all these years!
As with anything there are times of plenty and times of “famine” and this past year has been a bit trying for many reasons that I won’t bore you with..
I finished up my new CD “Made Of Sand” late last year with Pat
McInerney and David “ferg” Ferguson producing and some wonderful “sit ins” by Emmylou Harris, Nanci Griffith, Pat Mclaughlin and Guthrie Trapp and it is AVAILABLE at www.cdbaby.com/govescrivenor
It’s a strange thing and a bit of a catch 22, this business I’m in. You can’t get show dates without a new CD and you can’t sell CDs without the showdates, so it’s been a rollercoaster ride trying to put it all together. I am very fortunate and forever grateful for the time and investment many people have given me to get this project up and running.

Using this space to unabashedly solicit “gigs” is probably tacky but without a booking agent I feel you all will forgive me! I need all the dates I can get these days and am not ashamed to put that fact out there on the web. I would love to hear from anyone who might like to do a house concert (see the house concert page on my site) as well as the usual concert and “listening room” venues.
